Coaching

At TLC, we partner with companies to develop their executives to become what they are capable of being. This is best accomplished through our Individual Coaching. This program allows the greatest flexibility to meet the individual needs of each professional at the times that are convenient for them to learn. The goal is permanent and positive change.

“Simply stating that I recommend Beverly seems like an injustice to her and all the hard work that she put into my success. Because of my experience with Beverly, I am a better employee and manager; moreover, I am a better human being.” Angela Davis, Manager, BCBST

“One of the best things I have gained from the coaching is accepting people for who they are and knowing how to identify and adapt to their behavioral style.” Phil West, Atlanta

“Your coaching has made a difference in my life and attitude for others. Almost daily, some form of the course I am able to use.” Don Huffman, Chattanooga

“It is so helpful. I only wish I’d discovered it a week earlier before I had to pay the high price of a misunderstanding.” Noreen Dagliano, Hagertown, Maryland

Individual Coaching Process:

While each person is different, below is a general outline of TLC’s Individual Coaching Process. The person receiving coaching is referred to as ‘client’.

  1. TLC meets with management to determine the perceived needs of the client. After discussions of process and fees, an evaluation is scheduled.

  2. TLC contacts the client to introduce him/her to the Individual Coaching process. After this discussion, questions are answered and a commitment to enter the process is obtained.

  3. TLC sends information to the client electronically, including questionnaires, profiles and other pertinent material. TLC requests that the forms be completed and returned by a target date.

  4. TLC meets with the client to share results of the profiles and to continue the evaluation. Depending upon the needs stated by the client and management, client is further tested for those areas. (This may include time management, listening, etc.) Realistic role-plays are completed to determine the level of performance the client exhibits. At the conclusion of the evaluation, specific goals are outlines and agreed upon both by the client and TLC.

  5. An assessment with recommendations is sent to client and management with a cost cap given. Once approved, the Individual Coaching continues.

  6. Individual Coaching sessions are scheduled to meet the needs of the established goals and to fit within the schedule of the client. Each session begins with a discussion of current and urgent needs, then the prescribed lessons, followed with assignments on the job. Discussions remain confidential and client will be informed of scheduled conference calls with management and what will be discussed during those interactions.

  7. TLC will keep management informed on a regular basis, usually every four to six weeks. During these conferences, TLC will gather feedback from management as well. Adjustments to the coaching sessions will be made based upon this input, however, the cost cap will remain in tact unless management wants an extension due to additional skills sets they are requesting.

  8. For three months following the Individual Coaching, Beverly Inman-Ebel will be available for short (15 minute) conference calls to help the client adjust new skill sets to his/her environment.

  9. Optional: For one-year post coaching, client can be coached once each quarter for 2 hours to continue the learning and reinforce the new skills.
